Isntree Products Review
1. Isntree Green Tea Fresh Toner
Product Type: It’s an antioxidant-rich toner with green tea extracts to control excess sebum and maintain pore health.
Ideal For: Oily Skin.
Ingredients: Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Water, Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract, Vaccinium Angustifolium (Blueberry) Fruit Extract, Pinus Palustris Leaf Extract, Ulmus Davidiana Root Extract, Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Flower Extract, Pueraria Lobata Root Extract, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/ VP Copolymer, Allantoin, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Beta-Glucan, Disodium EDTA, Hydroxyacetophenone
Texture: Watery, brown liquid – looks like Dettol.
Fragrance: A noticeable, unique scent – most probably of fresh green tea.
My Experience:
This is a very lightweight, watery toner that gets absorbed super quickly. Since the liquid is brown colored, sometimes, I felt that it left a tinge on the skin.
It’s not very hydrating but hydrating enough for oily skin and the summers. It leaves the skin supple with a soft matte finish. It helps with sebum control and you don’t feel oily as the day goes on.
With 80% Green Tea Extracts, this is rich in antioxidants so it’s great for the skin too.
The pricing, ingredients used, and skin feel are nice – but that’s about it. I didn’t miss out on anything if I didn’t use this toner – that’s because I have combination skin. If you are looking for a toner for your oily skin and that nothing works out for your hot summers, this would be good for you.
My Rating: 3/5
2. Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Toner
Product Type: It’s a hydrating toner with different types of hyaluronic acid for plump and youthful skin.
Ideal For: Dehydrated skin
Ingredients: Sodium Hyaluronate, Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Trehalose, Betula Alba Juice, Beta-Glucan, Soluble Collagen, Althaea Rosea Root Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Panthenol, Zanthoxylum Piperitum Fruit Extract, Pulsatilla Koreana Extract, Usnea Barbata (Lichen) Extract.
Texture: Clear with a light viscosity.
Fragrance: No scent.
My Experience:
It’s got all the great soothing and hydrating ingredients like Aloe Vera, Glycerin, Panthenol, and Beta-Glucan along with 5 Types of Hyaluronic Acid.
I loved this much better than the Green Tea Fresh Toner for my combination skin. It gives the perfect dose of hydration to my skin. I like that the texture is not too viscous but at the same time, not too watery.
It’s a hydrating toner and My skin soaks this up in just a few seconds leaving it soft and plump. There is no sticky feel after application. This works well with other skincare products – no pilling experienced.
In all, I am a fan of the Klairs Supple Preparation Toner and I loved the Isntree one equally.
My Rating: 4.5/5
3. Isntree Clear Skin AHA Essence
Product Type: It’s an AHA-based chemical exfoliator to fade blemishes and revive dull skin.
Ideal For: Normal & Dry Skin.
Ingredients: Water, Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Potassium Hydroxide, Morus Alba Bark Extract, Asiaticoside, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Ginkgo Biloba Nut Extract, Acorus Calamus Root Extract, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice Powder, Allantoin, Panthenol, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Zanthoxylum Piperitum Fruit Extract, Pulsatilla Koreana Extract, Usnea Barbata (Lichen) Extract.
Texture: Water-like liquid with a yellow tinge, but goes clear on the skin.
Fragrance: Contains no added fragrance. But has a peculiar plastic-like scent.
My Experience:
The product feels sticky initially but gets absorbed eventually and is quite light on the skin. Unlike many exfoliators, this isn’t drying on the skin – that’s mostly because it’s loaded with skin-soothing ingredients like Allantoin, Panthenol, Cucumber, Aloe Vera, and Licorice Extract which has anti-inflammatory effects too.
The first time I used this on bare skin, there was a mild tingling sensation – though it settled down after applying good ceramide moisturizer. So for subsequent uses, I used this after putting on the hyaluronic acid toner and I didn’t experience any discomfort. I used this once a week. It provides mild exfoliation and I could notice that my skin was bright the next day.
Overall, it’s a nice product with 4% Lactic Acid and 4% Glycolic Acid. This has been reformulated now with Chestnut and other good ingredients. I’ve heard good reviews about it too.
My Rating: 3.5/5
4. Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Aqua Gel Cream
Product Type: It’s a lightweight gel cream with anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory effects to leave the skin smooth and healthy.
Ideal For: Dull, Dehydrated, Dry Skin
Ingredients: Water, Methylpropanediol, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, 1,2-Hexanediol, Glycerin, Biosaccharide Gum-1, Betaine, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Trehalose, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Centella Asiatica Extract, Polygonum Cuspidatum Root Extract, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Houttuynia Cordata Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Sodium PCA, Phytosqualane, Isostearyl Alcohol, Butylene Glycol Cocoate, Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, Hyaluronic Acid, Hydrolyzed Jojoba Esters, Hydrogenated Olive Oil Unsaponifiables, Butylene Glycol, Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate, Allantoin, Xanthan Gum, Ethylcellulose, Propanediol, Phenyl Trimethicone, Pentylene Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin
Texture: Gel cream
Fragrance: No scent.
My Experience:
This is one of the best moisturizers I’ve used on my combination skin. It provides the perfect moisturization and hydration my skin needs.
I particularly like the finish of this moisturizer on my skin. It’s not matte matte, neither is it greasy dewy. It’s got a moisture finish with a subtle glow. It goes a bit watery on the skin, feels occlusive initially, and settles down to a non-sticky, skin-like finish.
And whenever I use this in my night routine, I love how this makes my skin super plump and glowing. It’s a no-fuss moisturizer, fragrance-free with great ingredients.
Except for very oily skin and very dry skin, this should work all through the year in all seasons.
Rating: 5/5
5. Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Airy Sunscreen

Sunscreen Filters: Octisalate (UVB), Homosalate (UVB), Tinosorb S (UVA & UVB), Tinosorb M (UVA & UVB), Parsol SLX (UVB), Uvinul A Plus (UVA).
Texture: Thin, white, milky lotion.
Fragrance: It’s free from added fragrance and contains no noticeable scent.
My Experience:
I love this. It’s everything that I want in a sunscreen. The Isntree Sunscreen has a nice blendable texture; it’s lightweight, doesn’t leave any white cast, doesn’t sting my eyes, doesn’t pill, reapplication is a breeze, and goes well with makeup and other skincare products.
Most importantly it has 6 strong UV filters that you can blindly trust for its sun protection. It’s been tested by the Korea Institute of Dermatological Sciences and verified to have SPF 53.5 and PFA 19.4 PA++++.
And it’s got many antioxidants and skin-soothing and repairing ingredients that are great for overall skin health.
The downsides – it’s not water resistant or sweatproof and it can be heavy for oily skin types. On my combination skin, I skip using a moisturizer as it’s quite nourishing on its own. This works as a great one-and-down product in my morning routine.
And yes, this is one of the Best Korean Sunscreens.
My Rating: 4.5/5
Isntree Products are effective, sensitive skin-friendly, and great overall. You should try some of their products. They are well made, well priced, and don’t make a hole in your pocket.
