My today’s review is about Maybelline Fit Me Powder Foundation 128 Warm Nude. I believe in minimalism when it comes to makeup. Though I do have certain marks and a bad dark circle to cover, I don’t like overdoing makeup. I always prefer sheer to medium coverage foundation to create my base. Since I don’t apply makeup for more than 4-5 hours, I don’t even use a proper primer most of the time. I use a medium coverage foundation and top it off with a matte compact. Last year I bought a powder foundation from Lakme but the shade was too warm for me. My cousin bought this compact and it was too ashy for her true warm undertone. So, we decided to trade the powders and that is how this foundation compact landed in my makeup collection. Read on to know if I liked it or not.

Maybelline Fit Me! Powder Foundation 128 Warm Nude Review
Packaging: This powder foundation comes in a black plastic compact case kind of packaging. Maybelline’s two way compact looks almost similar just the case colour is different. The square shaped compact has a mirror and a sponge applicator. This is a wet and dry product so the sponge can be used dry or wet. The packaging looks very classy and strong. I like such travel-friendly packaging as I carry my compact everywhere.
Shade & Texture: This compact foundation powder comes in same shade numbers as Maybelline Fit Me Foundation Range. So, choosing your shade is not an issue if you already know your Fit Me shade. However, you might not get your exact shade in this range. Powder foundation is available in only 6-7 shades but the original fit me shade range is wider. You have to go some shades up or down to get your powder foundation shade. I am in the shade 128 Warm Nude. This shade works well for MAC’s NC25-32.
The formula of this foundation is quite good. The powder is of creamy type. It does not feel chalky at all. The formula adapts to the skin and gets blended in the warmth of my skin. It has definite warm undertones with neutral base. The shade gives certain amount of brightness. It is not banana yellow though. It enhances skin’s original tone beautifully.
Fragrance: The powder is fragrance free, which is a good thing as scented products can break out some.
For the past few months I have been limiting down my makeup stash to keep just the bare essentials. Too much product confuses me and I end being late to every event I attend. Powder foundations are a two in one product so I adore them. They can be used alone to provide slight coverage within seconds. That helps a lot when I am in hurry. I can also pair it up with foundation for a better coverage. I have tried this with 2-3 different brand BB/CC creams and also a couple of foundations. It does a great job at setting the base products. It gives an immediate brightening effect to the skin and feels light and comfortable as well. Sadly, the creamy powder formula can’t keep my skin getting oily for too long. The oiliness starts to peek through within 2-3 hours and I need a touch up. In winter weather, the effect lasts for 4-5 hours. I love this compact because it blurs out the pores to certain extent and makes the face look smooth in pictures.
- Light coverage wet-dry compact foundation suits all skin types.
- Formula is smooth and blendable.
- No cakey feel.
- Looks natural on the skin even if you have applied more than required.
- Gives comfortable matte finish and pore blurring effect.
- Does not irritate sensitive skin or cause acne.
- Considering the coverage, price is definitely high.
- Can’t keep my skin from getting oily for long.
Would I Recommend? I would recommend the Maybelline Fit Me Powder Foundation to oily or sensitive skin people who can’t use heavy liquid or cream based foundations. It is also a good buy if you want to increase the coverage of your foundation or looking for a light compact with light coverage for everyday use.

Honestly, I don’t like to use compacts as they trigger my oily skin to produce my skin more oil. But I have loved using the foundation from the same range. This shade is highly suitable for wheatish skin.
