My take on Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer:
Packaging: It is extremely travel friendly and superbly convenient to use. It comes in glass tube with a sponge applicator on top. Product comes out and reaches the top of the sponge on simply rotating the bottom half of the tube. It rotates with a click sound on every movement and somehow that sound seems very satisfactory to me…no clue why though!!
Shade: I am in the shade medium and 5 shades in total are available in India. Although the range is much more in countries outside India, these shades cover more or less majority of skin tones in India. Having said that, I feel few skin tones have to simply compromise on the shade by mixing some other concealer along. I wish we had more shades.
Texture: The texture is to die for, it is so creamy and thick but good thick. As in, it’s super light weight and still thick enough to conceal and blend easily.
Application: I simply roll out the product and swipe it under my eyes, bridge of nose, forehead and on spots if it is needed. And at times I over do it because I simply love how smoothly it applies anywhere and in everyway. There are times when I even use this alone without any foundation on face and rock the look. It’s super light weight and covers the entire face nicely.
Coverage: Now this criteria has been hyped enough and I hate it when beauty bloggers with a clear face scream it’s a full coverage concealer. Dude it’s not! I have stubborn acne scars on my face and it doesn’t hide them at all. May be it can hide very light scars or just the redness, but it surely is not meant to hide dark spots.
How I use it? Since it doesn’t help me in concealing reallllllyyyyy, so I use it as a highlighter on the high points of my face. It really brightens up the entire face. I also use it under my eyes because this is the only concealer which doesn’t give an ashy look under the eyes and still manage to hide the dark circles. I don’t have very prominent dark circles so I won’t really comment on the fact that it will surely cover all kinds of dark circles. It might just not…
Staying power: I feel it’s the best trait of this product. It will stay forever with very slight creasing and that too it is not bothersome at all. All concealers move and crease, so will this but the creasing is way too less than others. The trick is to set it nicely with a translucent powder.
Overall my experience with the Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer has been very good for concealing dark circles and highlighting my face. I love it to bits for that.
Pros:
- Affordable.
- Travel friendly.
- Doesn’t crease much.
- Perfect for highlighting.
- Covers under eye area nicely without giving ashy look.
Cons:
- Not the best option for covering acne scars on face.
- Gets used up too fast.
Rating: 5/5
Do I recommend? Yes, Definitely. The cons can be easily ignored, for me atleast!

I really like the packaging of this concealer. The roll on packaging is really convenient for applying…
