Last month I subscribed back to Fabbag. Thanks to their tempting offers. I couldn’t resist, so I just subscribed for their 6 month plan at 25% OFF plus extra makeup in the first month. I received the November Bag just a few days ago so I couldn’t do an unboxing post last month. Let’s just see what I got in the December 2017 Fab Bag .
December 2017 Fab Bag is named Blend The Beauty relating to the star product of the bag. I was expecting a Christmasy theme. But then that’s ok. The products inside this bag goes well with this cold winter season.
The products came in a brown, textured, metallic clutch type pouch. It looks festive. But the quality is not one of their best. I do not see myself using this bag like the other Fab bags.
I received 5 products out of which 3 are full sized. There is also a 20% OFF voucher that can be redeemed at Aroma Magic Website.
Contents of the December 2017 Fab Bag:
- Sugar Cosmetics Blend The Rules Eyeshadow Quad in 07 Applause (Full Size : 599 INR)
- Bella Voste Premium Nail Enamel (Full Size : 249 INR)
- Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic Cocoa Butter & Vanilla Body Cream (26 INR for 10gms)
- Bliscent Peppermint Foot Soak (Full Size : 200 INR)
- Alanna Desiccated Coconut and Saffron Skin Brightening Scrub (340 INR for 20gms)
Sugar Cosmetics Blend The Rules Eyeshadow Quad in 07 Applause
The December 2017 Fab Bag includes the newly launched Sugar Cosmetics Blend The Rules Eyeshadow Quad. I got to choose the shade among 18 other shades. I chose 07 Applause which has 3 matte and one metallic shade. It has a matte mauve brown, a matte deep plum, a matte true brown and a shimmery deep rose gold shade. These shades can be easily used to create dramatic party looks as well as subtle everyday looks. The quad also comes with a dual ended sponge applicator. Just that a mirror is missing. With that, it would have been perfect. The quad retails for 599 INR which is the price of the bag itself. So if you are interested in buying the eyeshadow from Sugar, I would say just get the December Fab Bag.
Bella Voste Premium Nail Enamel
This is an affordable makeup brand that is lately seen in many many subscription boxes. Last month Fab Bag sent out lip crayons and this month its nail paints. I didn’t get to use the lip crayon and so will this nail paint. That’s because I’ve never used nail paints in my life and will never will too. Probably I will be gifting this to a friend of mine. I received a pale green shade.
Aroma Magic Cocoa Butter & Vanilla Body Cream
I’m fond of Aroma Magic products. So I’m quite happy to receive this body cream despite being sample sized. The body cream has a nice cocoa butter smell. It is highly nourishing and moisturizing. My dry body skin loves this. The cream has cocoa butter and claims to prevent stretch marks. I think this would be a good alternative for the Palmers Cocoa Butter Lotion, which is my HG. The formula is also hypoallergenic, free of parabens, petrochemicals, phthalates and other nasty chemicals.
Bliscent Peppermint Foot Soak
Bliscent is a handcrafted, luxury, natural body care brand. I had earlier received a lip scrub from the brand in my VanityCask Subscription. Their products always smell and feel natural. I’m sure this peppermint foot soak would be a great soothing and healing saviour for my dry heels. The foot soak has baking soda and Epsom salt as its base with a beautiful sea blue color to it. I’m eagerly waiting to try this soon.
Alanna Desiccated Coconut and Saffron Skin Brightening Scrub
Most of you would not be aware of this brand. Well, being a natural skincare lover, I’ve had my eyes on this brand since a while. Thanks to Fab Bag, I’m able to try out products from brands that are on my wishlist. This is a skin brightening scrub with Saffron and Dessicated Coconut. We all know how effective saffron is for skin brightening. The scrub is in a dry form and smells very pure. I will try this out and let you guys know how this fares.
That was all that I received in my December Fab Bag. I’m happy with the selection of brands and products except the nail paint in this bag. But that’s my personal preference. This month’s bag is definitely worth the money. I would recommend all Sugar Lovers to get this bag.
