You might have seen the whole internet and social platform is raving about Korean beauty regimen and all Beauty feeds are flooded with such trend. I am one such skincare junkie who takes up the 7 step K-beauty Routine in my own way 😛 or at least double cleansing religiously in my daily skin care routine. In my entire quest for K-Beauty products and stuffs, I realized that all K-Beauty products contain an SPF, at least a minimum SPF level. Also, Korean women reapply their make up at regular intervals (which means they reapply SPF as well). Many people firmly believe that sunscreen is the underlying secret of their glass skin and ageless look.
Since summer is already here, you might be on the look out for a good sunscreen as well. Using a sunscreen has various benefits including,
- Protection against harmful UV rays
- Reduce Premature aging
- Reduce sun damage
- Reduce Wrinkles and age spots etc.
Note that sunscreen benefits can be felt only in the long run. Choose a sunscreen that has a broad spectrum to protect against UVA and UVB rays.
Today I’ll be reviewing the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock. Neutrogena is a very well known brand for their skin care products. I have a strong liking towards Neutrogena products. Their deep facial cleanser and daily blackhead scrub always have a place in my skin care range and my Holy Grail products. Their product really does what it claims.
Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock has SPF 50+ PA+++ with Helioplex sun protection. It provides broad spectrum protection against skin-aging UVA and burning UVB rays. Keep reading to know more about this product.

How to use?
Apply generously 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply at least every two hours and after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating.

My take on Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock :
Packaging: Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock come in a simple white, opaque plastic tube with a blue screw cap. The tube packaging is very neat, hygienic to use and travel friendly as well. Various details about the product is also clearly printed on the back cover.
Fragrance: It has a very mild fragrance that does not linger for long. So even people who are sensitive to fragrances in their products can very well use this sunscreen.
Texture: The sunscreen is milky white in color and has a creamy texture that gets absorbed easily into the skin.
Experience: I usually apply this on to my face after moisturizer. It doesn’t make my skin feel sticky after application. Even more, it doesn’t make my skin oily after hours of application which most sunscreens do. It didn’t cause any breakout on my acne prone skin too. The sunscreen has SPF 50 with broad spectrum coverage i.e. PA +++. It’s waterproof, sweat proof. It did not leave any white cast on my skin. What more you can ask in a sunblock!
Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock is suitable for all skin types and can also be used on sensitive skin due to its gentle formula. You cannot use this as a replacement for moisturizer although it’s creamy.
The product definitely lives up to its claims and this has become my favourite go-to product these days. Re-apply every two hours if you are too much exposed to sunlight.

Cons:
- I really don’t have any. But for the sake of saying, I would say it Price is slightly on the higher side.
Would I recommend? Yes, definitely for those looking for a good sunscreen. It’s the most suited sunblock for the forthcoming scorching summers. If you are looking for an organic sunscreen, then this is not for you. But I am ok with chemicals, at least in an effective sunscreen, that works best for my skin type. At the end of the day an efficient sun protection matters and I believe anything that is packaged for commercial and with greater shelf life would never be 100 % organic product.
