The internet popular parent company of Mamaearth, Honasa Consumers, buys BBlunt, the popular hair salon brand. Honasa will take over the management of the salons and all the haircare range from BBlunt while the founding team will still operate them as an independent entity.
Its founder Ghazal Alagh took it to Instagram to celebrate this acquisition with the below post.
BBlunt has been in the market for more than two decades, founded in 1998 by Adhuna and Ashoke Bhabani. Having a wide range of hair colors, styling products, serums, shampoos, and conditioners, BBlunt is used by both regular consumers as well as celebrity stylists.
Honasa launched Mamaearth as a startup in 2016 with a baby care range. It, now, has a full range of personal care products. Honasa is also the house for brands The Derma Co and Aqualogica.
